Ten on Thursday

In an effort to keep up with this blog more than I have been, here we go....

1. I can't believe May is halfway over. This year has gone way too fast already. I need more hours in my day to accomplish all I want to in the 7 1/2 months left.
2. I love the song 'Remember When' - it just came on my iPod. If you've never heard it, look it up.
3. A fellow photographer has me inspired to pick up my old film SLR again- I loved that thing so many years ago. It was my first camera that was my own from my dad. I think this will be my goal for next week. Stay tuned to see what I come up with :)
4. I miss 70 degree weather. I shouldn't have to wear sweatpants and coats in May.
5. I am 8 months away from going to Disney World and I CAN NOT wait. I can't wait to see the look on Luke's face when he sees Micky Mouse in person. It's going to be awesome.
6. In 2 weeks we are having our family pictures done by my fabulous photographer friend Christina - I am thrilled! She is amazing and I'm so lucky to have her do our photos. Sadly this is the best pic I have with my kids since the last time we saw her :)  (credit to the hubby and our awesome p&s!)

7.We bought a new vacuum lat night. Is it sad that is the highlight of me week? I got such a GREAT deal at Kohls.
8. I wish I could look forward to weekends. While working weekends has it's perks, it's also a major downfall in itself.
9. I love this kid. Seriously. How could I not? He cracks me up, constantly.

10. Being a mom is the easiest and hardest thing I've ever done. When you decide to have children- you know life is going to change- it already has- but you don't know how, how much. I never knew how much my heart could grow until I had my kids. I never knew how completely you can love someone with your entire heart and soul. How you worry about someone so much, but know you have to let them learn by letting go. How I get to the end of the day and don't know how I'm going to entertain them for one more hour- but I miss them when they are in bed. I love how they can make you laugh in the midst of driving you crazy. I also never knew how children have the ability to make time fast forward- I wish it would stop, just for a little while.
My family is the reason I do everything I do. And while my children perhaps were not the reason I picked up photography, they are the reason I will continue it, and why I love it so. I want to be able to look back and remember all these crazy every-day moments we have that I love.

That was really long, but it was on my mind :)
